Our History

This journey began amidst the palms, sun, warmth and colours of Santo Domingo. In 1985, Marco Santucci, RUCO LINE’s founder and CEO, was a young landlord in Bocachica who, every day, bought coloured shoes, woven using a fishing needle, from a Haitian lady in the district.
He collected one pair at a time and brought them to Italy with the idea of starting an extraordinary adventure.
